Final chapter of September 11th. This chapter is also like Chapter two. It is a Fantasy story and not any of these events are real or happened. Please remember the boy and girl I called Joe and Aleshia are real and did escape the building alive.

they saw the nurse showing Aleshia how to dress Joe's burns.  Aleshia 
wasn't a bit bashful, which was what the laughter was about. 

When Joe & Aleshia saw them Aleshia smiled and said. “Hi Mom, Hi Dad”. 

They couldn't help but notice her sad eyes where she had cried so much
the last few days, but they were still beautiful.  Joe looked so tired 
but his eyes brightened up when Jack showed him his new clothes. 

Joe said, “It seems like it has been years since I wore pants & shoes”. 

Aleshia smiled at him and said, “The shoes will have to wait for a few
days.  If I'm going to be your nurse you have to do what I say”.  Then 
he got that little kiss on the bottom lip. 

Alice took the clothes out of the case she brought Aleshia. She asked,
“Would these be alright for you sugar”? 

Aleshia said, “Yes if Dad doesn't mind”? 

Alice said, “Dad picked them out.  No one noticed the Dr. & Counselor
had walked in.  Jack grinned at Joe and said, “Well you two have laid 
together half naked the last few days, I thought these would be fine”. 

Aleshia said, “Daddy I am ashamed of you”. 

Alice said, “Jack Rice you tell the kids you are sorry”.  Jack turned
red as blood and this brought laughter from not only Aleshia and Alice 
but Joe had a grin and than a little chuckle. 

He said, “I'm not saying a word”. 

The Counselor said, “At last a sign of recovery.  We have a long way to
go but we are going to make it.  Let me tell you kids something now, 
you will have some good days and some bad.  I can see now you two kids 
will survive this tragedy as long as you have each other for awhile”. 

Joe said, “At least 50 years”. 

Aleshia assured him, “not a day less. You have to promise”, she replied.


Joe said,  “I promise”. 

The Doctor said, “What would you two say if I said you could go home
tomorrow”? 

Joe had a very startled look, Aleshia notices this and she said to Joe,
and “My home is your home as long as you want it”. 

Jack said, “Aleshia your mom & I would like for you & Joe to stay with
us for a while if you will.  We will fix the big bedroom up stairs with 
the full bath in it.  There is another bedroom that joins it and when 
you two feel comfortable being in separate rooms they will be there.  
Mom & I want you & Joe to make the decision when that time comes but 
not until you each are ready”. 

Jack said, “If you feel alright we are going to leave you two alone here
tonight and we will go home and make the room ready. Jack ask, “Is that 
OK with you Doctor”? 

He said, “That will be fine. I want all of you to remember nightmares
will follow you for awhile and it is important that each of you is 
close by each other”. 

Before Jack & Alice left the kids put on their street clothes and they
felt so good.  Joe cannot wear his street shoes but his pants and a 
loose shirt was fine.  When he saw Aleshia in her outfit he couldn't 
believe his eyes. How could such a beautiful girl even give him the 
time of day little alone wanting to be by his side night & day? 

Then the Counselor said to Joe, “You two are going to be here all alone
tonight by your self.  I want the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door.  If 
you need a nurse you ring the buzzer.  That will be the only way anyone 
will enter this room unless it's an emergency. I would like for you two 
stay dressed for your dinner tonight, I want you to eat in this room 
and I want you left alone.  Joe take advantage of this night.  If you 
can think of anything at all you want to tell Aleshia tonight will be 
the perfect time.  This is not normal procedure for this hospital to 
have coed rooms but it is not normal for planes to destroy the twin 
towers and kill 5000 people”. 

“The trustee's of this hospital are aware of what we are doing tonight
along with your parents Aleshia. Take advantage of these times kids and 
use it wisely.  There are things you need to know about each other but 
you are the judge when to discuss this.  This has to be your decision 
and not mine or no one else”. 

Joe knew what the Counselor was talking about.  Aleshia didn't even know
his last name.  As far as he knew Jack & Alice didn't know it either. 

That evening at Dinnertime a small table was brought to the room.  The
staff worker said, “Your Dr. ordered this for you.  We will be right in 
with your dinner”. 

Soon the table was set for two.  Joe couldn't take his eyes off Aleshia.
He said, “I haven't realized how beautiful you really was until now”. 

She said, “I'm all yours, from the top of my head to the end of my
toes”. 

He asks, “Will you come here and set close to me”?  She did as he asks. 

He said, “My dear Sunshine, I love you more than anything else in this
world, but I will understand if you don't want to be seen in public 
with me.  I am not much to look at”. 

Aleshia said, “That is not true, but let's just play like it for a
minute that it was true.  I don't have to worry about any one trying to 
take you from me.  Anyway do you remember what the Doctor said?  We are 
not to be apart for awhile.  I don't know about you but awhile is a few 
years.  Now Joe ?? Who ever, One day soon we will be shopping and out 
in stores.  I will go to the bathroom without you but you better be 
outside the door when I come out”. 

Then Aleshia said, “I don't even know your last name.  I am not about to
lie beside you in bed anymore until I know who you are”. 

Joe said, “What if I am a bank robber”? 

Aleshia said, “I love bank robbers”. 

Joe said, “What if I am a killer”? 

Aleshia said, “I love killers”. 

Joe said, “What if I am a dummy”? 

Aleshia said, “I really love dummies”, she said, “that's it.  Now I know
why I love you so much.  You are a big Dummy”. 

They both laughed and put their arms around each other. What started as
a little kiss ended up as a kiss of all time?  Joe said, “I love you so 
much”. 

Aleshia said, “I love you Joe”. 

Joe asked, “Will you marry me”? 

Aleshia said, “In a heart beat.  I don't care who you are darling, You
may not want to marry me when I tell you what I have to tell you”. 

Joe said, “There is nothing in this whole wide world could make me think
that”. 

Aleshia said, “I don't think I can continue to be a model even if it was
the love of my life a week ago.  You see model's have to travel to 
different locations.  I cannot travel without you.  I can't expect you 
to baby sit me. I know we will have a hard time making ends meet but I 
will find a job doing anything as long as I know you are very close by. 
Do you still want to marry me”? 

“Even more now than before.  I have kept quiet long enough,” replied
Joe.  “Now it is my time to tell you all about me and my family and my 
life.  Would you have a problem of having a name like Mrs. Aleshia 
Fulton, The wife of Joe Fulton?  I bet you have heard of my Grandad.  
His name was Sam Fulton”. 

“ Would you have a problem with becoming a millionaire?  Maybe thirty or
40 of them.  You could buy a model agency and pay someone to travel for 
you. Will you still marry me now”? 

I love you Joe Fulton.  If you will have me I would have married you if
all you had was 15 cents”. 

“Can you keep this a secret just for a little while” asked Joe.
“Tomorrow when we get to your house I have to call our cooperate Office 
in Chicago.  They have to assume I'm dead.  They knew I was in the 
towers on the 11th.  Sunshine, I would give every one of the million's 
if I could make your night mare go away”. 

“My blessed Joe, What about your night mares”? She whispered. 

Joe said, “I care about you, I'm not worried about me”. 

“ I worry about you,” replied Aleshia. “Just remember, as long as I feel
you next to me or your arms around me I will be fine”. 

That night Joe & Aleshia did better than any of the nights since the
11th.  Three times the nurses did have to come and check on them. Twice 
for Aleshia, and once for Joe.  They both have the same nightmare.  
They dream they get separated n the fire escape.  Each time it happens 
all they have to do is gently talk to them and say he is here hold him 
he is here. Or she is here holding her she is here.  Once they felt the 
warmth of each other's body they would go right back asleep. They are 
not aware of this happening.  In the morning you could ask them and 
either would remember it. 

Early the next morning Joe & Aleshia were up early.  They were all ready
to check out even before their breakfast was served.  Joe asked 
Aleshia, “Do you know much about small jet planes”? 

She said, “Expensive, sometimes we would use one for a picture shoot. 
We used one that would carry about 10 people.  I know the pilot that 
always flew us works at a service at the airport”. Joe asked, “ What do 
you think about us buying one and hiring a pilot to work for us”? 

Aleshia said, “If you think so, It would cost a lot of money”. 

Joe said, “Half I own will be yours.  We need to talk about some things
before your parents get here.  I need your opinion on some things. 
Today I will include you on a lot of business related decisions that 
have to be made.  The reason I want to buy a jet I don't feel 
comfortable flying commercial flights anymore and there is no way I 
could put you on one.  It has to be our plane and our pilot”. 

Joe said, “I would like for you to call this pilot and ask him if he
would be interested in working for us.  Tell him we want to lease a jet 
from his employer until we can order one.  Tell him to come and see us 
and let us know what kind of plane we need and I will order it”. 

Than Joe asked Aleshia, “What kind of work is your Dad involved in”? 

Aleshia said, “He is a stock broker, but most of his clients were in the
towers that day.  I heard him tell Mom yesterday, This is the first 
time I have been unemployed since before Aleshia was born.  I pretended 
I didn't hear them.  Joe I think Dad is worried.  He told Mom there is 
too many young guys out there after work.  No one would give him the 
time of day”. 

Joe said, “Aleshia, I was in New York trying to set up a new branch for
our cooperate office in Chicago.  I was to head up that office.  But 
after the death of my father a lot of changes will have to be made.  
Here is what I have in mind but I will do this only if I have 100% of 
your approval.  I am going to offer your Dad the New York position.  
Everyone expects me to take over dad's position if it every came open.  
No one every dreamed it would come open the way it did.  I am going to 
give that position to one of Dad's friends that sets on our board.  He 
has been with Dad since the beginning.  I will work out of either 
office.  You and I will spend more time in New York since your family 
lives here.  If you don't care for me tagging along, I will go with you 
when or if ever you want to do a model shoot. Your plane will be at 
your service and I will go with you if you don't care”. 

Aleshia said, “Joe it would be nothing that would make me any happier. 
I can't wait to become Aleshia Fulton. I know Dad will faint if you 
offer him a position such as you mentioned”. 

Joe said, “Remember Sunshine, Its we or us.  What is mine is yours”. 

Soon Jack & Alice were there to pick up the kids.  Joe asked, “Do you
mind Jack if I call Chicago and tell my office I am fine.  I am sure 
they know what happened to Mom & Dad.  I want to tell them I am fine.  
I know the hospital contacted my Aunt and she has called the office but 
I need to call.  If it's OK with you I need to set up a conference call 
with them.  I need to arrange for closed circuit TV at your house to my 
Chicago office.  I need all four of us present.  They will be able to 
see us and we can see them.  May I make the arrangements now for a 2:00 
P.M. meeting tomorrow”? 

Jack said, “Of course”. 

Joe made a call and was told every thing would be ready by 2:00 o'clock.
Joe told them Aleshia's parent's address and hung up the phone. 

The Dr. & Counselor came in the room just one more time before the kids
checked out.  They just couldn't get over how beautiful Aleshia was. 
That terrible day had caused only one change in her appearance.  Her 
hair was 6 inches shorter.  Mom liked it better shorter.  Joe & Dad 
were longhair nuts. 

Aleshia said, “Long it will be again soon”. 

The Counselor reminded them all one more time that the nightmares would
be normal.  They may last only for weeks or they may last for months.  
She was sure they would get fewer and far between.  You two kids stay 
close to each other and no surprises and you will be fine.  Jack, 
Alice, you make sure the kids remember this.  I want to see you back 
here in one month.  Joe by the grace of God you might have only one 
small scare of your hand.  I will tell you more about that in a month.  
Aleshia, the reason Joe didn't have scares is because every time Joe 
would scab over you sprayed it with sterile water and pulled off the 
scab.  This made the healing process work harder and harder. 

Aleshia took Joe hand and kissed it.  She told the Dr. and Counselor,
“Wait a month and we will see what this looks like”. 

The Dr. said, “I have a feeling no plastic or artificial skin will be
needed there either”. 

Soon the car pulled up in front of the large beautiful home.  Jack said,
“This is it”. 

Excitedly Aleshia said, “Joe my apartment is over there.  I'm up over
the garage”. 

Joe said, “Poor baby, you have only three rooms”? 

Aleshia said, “WELL DAA!  It's only a 3-car garage”. 

Jack said, “Joe don't go down that road, I've been down there, You stay
out of there if you know what is good for you”. 

That got Joe his favorite kiss.  Aleshia said, “You hush, you old mean
Daddy”. At last, music to Alice's ears, “Laughter”! 

Jack pulled the car up close to the garage steps that led up to Aleshia
apartment. Jack said, “Aleshia I know you want to show Joe your place 
before we go in the house”. 

“Dad I do but I wanted Mom to straighten up a little for me before Joe
seen it.  He will think I am a terrible housekeeper and won't want to 
marry me any more”. replied Aleshia. 

Jack said to Joe, “I love my little girl more than anything in this
world, I beg you Joe please love her even though she is not the best of 
house keepers”. 

Aleshia said, “Oh Daddy”. 

Mom hadn't been up there in a few weeks but she knew what it looked
like, the same as it did the day she moved in.  Aleshia and Joe went up 
the step arm in arm.  When they got to the door she made Joe close his 
eyes while she unlocked and opened it.  He couldn't believe his eyes.  
He had seen rooms like this but they were in Good House keeping 
magazines.  She walked him through the den, than a bath with walk in 
closet, than a bedroom.  It looked like a dollhouse.  All Joe could say 
to Aleshia was, “remind me to call Chicago and have someone burn down 
my house before you see it”.  That got another grin from Jack and 
Alice. 

The four came back down stairs and Jack told the kids, “There is
something Mom & I have been thinking about doing.  Now that you two 
will be getting married soon we won't need this big house. 

Joe spotted a tear form in Mom's eye and Aleshia knew something was
wrong.  She knew Her Grandad had giving them that house and it was 
priceless to both of them.  Aleshia just looked at Joe and her watery 
eyes told him they couldn't afford it any more. 

Joe looked back at her and without saying a word his eyes said, “Don't
worry Sunshine, He is about to be offered a job where he could buy two 
just like this one it they want them”. 

Aleshia said, “Please Dad let's talk about this later, I want to show
Joe our new room”. 

The house looked perfect.  Mom told Aleshia, “I hope you didn't mine but
I want you to go look in your closet”. 

She found a closet full of her clothes her Mom had moved over.  Mom
said, “Now anything you need from your place just let us know and we 
will get it.  If you and Joe want to go over and pick it out we will 
see to it that it's gets here. 

Jack said “Joe all your luggage has been on hold at your hotel and we
found out from the hospital this morning it will be delivered here 
today.  You have some new changes we got for you; they are in the 
closet with Aleshia's Clothes”. 

That day flew by lighting fast.  Soon it was time for bed.  Jack & Alice
were up in the kids room sayings their good nights.  A very serious Mom 
asked the kids for a very important favor.  She said, “Dad and I would 
rest so much better if you two would do something for us”? 

Aleshia said, “Mom we will do anything you ask”.  Joe assured them of
the same thing. 

“Tonight when you two are ready to close your eyes and go to sleep no
matter what time it is we want you to turn on the intercom.  Do this 
only when you are ready to close your eyes.  We know both of you have 
bad night mares and I don't know if you were aware of it but nurses 
would be in your room sometimes two or three times a night.  I don't 
think you remember this because you never talk about it.  The nurses 
wouldn't fully awake you just talk to you softly till you calmed down”. 
Alice asked, “Will you do that for us for awhile”? 

Joe said, “Of course, as long as you like”. 

They said their goodnights and Mom & Dad closed their door and left. Joe
& Aleshia lay in each other's arms for hours and then they said their 
good nights.  Joe turned on the intercom and turned off the light.  
About 4:00 o'clock that morning Jack & Alice were awakened by screams 
coming from the kids room.  Immediately they both were there.  They 
found Aleshia away from Joe and Aleshia both crying their eyes out.  
This was the first time Mom & Dad had witnessed one of the late night 
dreams. They had moved away from each other and each thought the other 
had gone.  Alice turned Aleshia over toward Joe and Jack turned Joe 
toward Aleshia.  Very softly they put the kid's arms around each other 
and spoke softly to them.  As soon as they felt the warmth of each 
other's body they were right back asleep. They just had to be touching. 
A leg to leg or arm to arm. If one ever turned over and missed the 
other that would set them both off.  The Counselor told them the fire 
and smokes were just as real in the dreams as if they were still in the 
building. 

The next morning the kids showered and dressed and were down stairs to
help with breakfast.  When they got to the kitchen Mom & Dad was not 
there. They were still asleep. 

Aleshia said, “Joe let's fix breakfast and surprise Mom & Dad”.  They
did just that and than rushed to their room to awake them for 
breakfast.  Aleshia said, “Wake up sleepy heads you will sleep your 
life's away.  We have breakfast ready for you”. 

Mom asked, “Did you two sleep OK”? 

Joe said, “Like a log”. 

Aleshia said, “You see Mom you worry about us for nothing”. 

I know Darling but you see the little red light on the intercom.  We
didn't go to sleep until that come on” replied Mom. 

Joe said, “Don't worry, as long as we are here the little red light will
burn.  We both will promise you that”. 

It was not long after that a truck with a satellite dish on top pulled
in the drive.  They begin unloading the things they needed to make a 
television hook up with Chicago.  Joe got on the phone and rung his 
office.  This time a very sweet voice said, “Fulton Enterprise”. 

As hard as Joe tried he couldn't make the words come out.  Aleshia was
in his arms and through her tears she said, “It's OK Joe, hold me and 
let it out”.  Aleshia hand the phone to her Dad.  Jack could hardly 
make out the words he heard but this woman was very emotional. 

She was saying, “Joe,  Joe, My little Joe”. 

Jack said, “My name is Jack Rice.  Give Joe a few minutes he will be
OK”.  Aleshia led him over to the couch and there they sat in each 
other's arms. 

Jack heard the woman say, “I am sorry, we've been so worried about him. 
His aunt called us and said he was alive but there would be a healing 
process to go through.  I called the hospital every day and checked on 
him.  I asked them not to say anything because I knew he had enough on 
his mind without worrying about Chicago.  My name is Toni and I was Mr. 
Fulton's personal secretary”. 

Jack said, “It's nice talking to you Toni, my name is Jack Rice.  My
daughter is the girl Joe saved from the building”. 

Toni asked, “How is she doing”? 

Jack said, “Fine as long as Joe is not out of her sight.  The same is
with Joe; he is very protective of her also. He does not want her out 
of his sight.  This is 24 hours a day like this for both of them.  Both 
are doing better.  Joe was calling to see if your hookups are ready”. 

Toni said yes, “We were waiting on the call and than I will get everyone
in the room”. 

Jack said, “Hold on Toni, we are about ready”. 

Joe asked their technician, “Can you get them on screen without them
seeing us for a while”. 

He said, “Sure!  Mr. Rice, tell them to turn on the transmitter”. Soon a
picture of the conference room came up on the screen.  The technician 
said, “Our transmitter is off, we can see and hear them but they cannot 
see or hear us”. 

Joe asked Jack for the phone.  Then he said, “I am sorry Toni, I guess I
wasn't ready to hear your voice”. 

That's fine, you take it slow for awhile.  If you like I will talk to
Mr. Rice.  You just tell us what to do and what you want,” softly she 
replied. 

Joe said, “Thanks I will do that, but first I want you to get everyone
in the room.  I need you in there too”.  Joe said, It would be about 15 
minutes before you can see or hear us but we can hear you and see you.  
Make sure all know this before they come in the room”. 

Toni said “yes Sir, I will make it happen”. 

Joe said, “I will give Jack back the phone but you just speak, I can
hear you, If I want to tell you something I will tell Jack and he will 
tell you. We will be ready here soon”. 

Joe watched as one by one everyone came in the room and took a seat. 
Aleshia clutched to Joe.  She said, “I know it is hard but it will be 
easier soon”. 

Then Alice took a seat on the opposite side of Joe.  Aleshia and Alice
both set there with arms around him.  They weren't sure how Joe would 
react to the empty chair of his father. Soon the room was filled.  Jack 
reminded Toni, “We could hear and see you”. 

Joe just stared at the empty chair.  He could hardly hold back his
tears.  He said, “That is the first time that chair has been empty 
since my Grandad died”. 

Aleshia said, “Please don't hold back those tears please cry with me”. 
That did it.  With arms around each other they both wept.  Alice just 
held them both and cried right with them.  In fact there wasn't a dry 
eye in the room.  Setting back away from the table was Toni.  She had a 
writing tablet in her hands.  She was the first to speak. 

She asked, “Are you OK Joe”? 

Jack said over the phone, “Can you give him just a minute”. 

Toni said, “Take all the time you need”.  Than they saw Toni get up and
walk behind the Gentleman sitting beside Joe's Dad's empty chair.  She 
lay her hands on his shoulders and softly she said, “Are you OK Mr. 
Grimes”? 

He lay his hand on hers and said, “Yes, thank you Toni”. 

Joe was watching now and he said, “Mr. Grimes was Dad's best friend. 
The other empty chair is mine”. 

Then Aleshia asked, “Joe who is the young man with his head down?  He
hadn't looked up since he sat down”. 

Before Aleshia could finish this lines Toni was behind him. They saw her
bend over and kiss his cheek.  She asked,  “Are you OK Gopher”? 

Gopher rubbed her hand and he looked up in her eyes and said to her,
“Only when I see Joe with my own eyes, than I will know he is OK”. 

Then Joe told the technician, “Open the transmitter”.  Before the
Chicago picture came in Gopher turned away. He wanted so bad to see Joe 
but he was afraid.  He knew what kind of fire he had come through. He 
was so glad he was alive.  Than Joe said, “Please Gopher look at me”? 

Than Gopher heard some of the other board members say, “Look!  He has
not been in any fire.  He has no burns on him”. 

Gopher turned immediately, When he seen Joe, He said, “Thank God!  Your
OK”. 

Then his mouth went open and he couldn't speak for a second.  Finally he
said, “Aleshia Rice.  There is Aleshia Rice!  Joe did you know you were 
setting beside Aleshia Rice. I consider myself lucky to be on the same 
planet as Aleshia Rice, How did you get to be in the same room with 
her”? 

This was needed for everyone.  The whole mood changed.  There were even
some chuckles came from a few. Joe & Aleshia even laughed. 

Joe asked, “Aleshia do you know Gopher”? 

She said, “I don't think so Darling, Gopher if we have met please
forgive me I don't remember”? 

Gopher said, “OH! My God! Joe she called you Darling and she called me
Gopher.  I have died and went to Heaven”. 

That did it.  People were bent over laughing. Mr. Grimes, Toni, Joe &
Aleshia even Mom & Dad and the entire group were breaking up. 

Than Gopher said, “Joe before you fire me will you tell me how you met
Aleshia, and why she called you darling”? 

Joe still laughing said, “Yes of course, but first you have to tell me
how you know her”? 

Gopher said, “I have been telling you, to get out more, you have led a
sheltered life”. Than Gopher asked, ”Have you ever heard of or seen any 
of the SwimSuit Edition magazines”? 

Joe said, “I think so”. 

Gopher said, “Look on page 64. That is Aleshia Rice”. 

Joe said, “Get out of here Gopher, I have never heard of Aleshia Rice. 
I want her to get up and walk closer to the camera. I think you have 
her mistaken with some one else”. 

Gopher said, “No! No! Joe.  That's her, She has cut her hair but that is
her”.  Aleshia got up and walked toward the camera just like she was 
modeling an outfit.  She came back and gave Joe a little kiss. 

Gopher said, “You're dead Joe.  You don't do your best buddy this way”.
Joe said, ”Gopher you're wrong buddy”. 

Gopher begged, ”Find the book you will see”. 

Than Alice whispered  “Joe I have that edition down stairs can I go get
it”? 

Joe said, “Please do”. 

Aleshia said, “Mom bring back the bikini that I wore in that picture. 

Joe said, “Yes bring it.  Aleshia will you put it on and model one more
time for Gopher,” Joe asked? 

Aleshia said, “If you want me to I will”. 

Joe said, “Please do it, I owe Gopher and this is a pay back”. 

Alice slipped out of the room and Joe said, “Just relax Gopher.  Jack
has the edition you spoke of and I will show you this is not Aleshia”. 

While Alice was gone Joe introduced all the board members to Jack. 
Alice came back in the room and she handed the book to Joe.  She had a 
bag in her hands.  Aleshia went into the next room to change.  She 
never was away to far that she couldn't hear Joe's voice.  Joe turned 
to page 64. 

He said, “This is a pretty girl alright.  I guess it is about time I
explain who she is and then we will get down to business.  Joe said, 
“Come back in Sunshine”. 

Aleshia walked in but she had a robe over the bikini.  She let it drop
to the floor and walked to the camera.  You could hear the OHHH!  
Aleshia walked back to Joe.  She slipped on the robe and took her seat 
beside Joe.  Gopher just set there with his mouth open. 

Joe asked, “Are you all right Gopher”? 

Gopher said, “In a minute.  Give me a minute”. 

Joe said, “Its time for me to introduce every body.  First I want to
make some changes while Gopher's blood pressure goes down.  First 
thing, Mr. Grimes, I want you to take Dad's chair.  You are the new CEO 
for our Chicago branch.  Gopher, I want you to take my chair.  Toni, I 
want you to take Mr. Grime's chair”.  There sat three of the happiest 
people Joe ever seen. 

Than he said, “Toni, do you have a girl there you would be comfortable
with doing your old job”? 

Toni said, “Tina”! 

Joe said, “Send for her.  If you want to recommend her to the rest of
the board tell Mr. Grimes”. 

Toni said, “I do recommend her”. 

Joe said, “My vote is for Tina”. 

Mr. Grimes said, “Does anyone oppose.  Not a word was said”.  Mr. Grimes
said, “Send for Tina.  We will wait for her to take notes”. 

Soon a very happy Tina walked in and Toni gave her the pad and said,
“Congratulations on your promotion.  You deserve it”. 

Joe said, “Now with that all taken care off, let us get to the New York
CEO.  I am not going to be able to take this position but I found a 
person better qualified than I am.  I have not asked him yet but with 
some encouragement from his family I hope he will take it.  You have 
met him briefly.  His name is Jack”. 

Jack like to fainted.  Joe asked Jack, “Do you accept”? Jack was still
in shock. 

Aleshia said, “Daddy please say yes”? 

Alice said, “Please say yes”? 

Jack said, “I guess the answer is yes”. 

Joe said, “Thank you”.  Aleshia & Alice first hugged Jack than Joe. 

Joe said, “I will stay on here for awhile and offer my help any way I
can.  Jack has to hire a staff.  That will be up to him.  If anyone 
wants to transfer here let him know”. 

Joe asked, “If you and Mom don't mind we will set you up a office here
until you get your staff hired.  We will have a company phone installed 
upon your command”.  Joe said, “Now I need to explain some things.  He 
stood and took Aleshia's hand. She stood and with her arm around him 
Joe said, “Gopher I want you to meet Aleshia Rice.  This is her Mom & 
Dad Jack & Alice Rice.  This is my Mom & Dad now; Aleshia & I will be 
getting married but first in front of you as witnesses I need to do 
something.  Joe said Jack would you walk over here in front of Aleshia 
& I. 

He did and Joe said,  “Sir if you will allow me to take your daughter's
hand in marriage I promise to take care for her and love her Until 
Death Do Us Part”. 

Jack put his arms around Joe and said, “I would be honored”. He asked,
“Will you please call me Dad starting now”? 

Joe said, “Yes Dad as you wish”. 

Alice had Joe in a hug and she asked, “Can I be Mom”? 

Joe said, “Yes Mom”. 

Than Aleshia went into Joe's arms.  Joe asked again, “Will you marry
me”? 

Aleshia said, “In a heart beat”. 

Joe said “We have just one more thing and we will close this session.
Aleshia & I have leased a Jet and hired a pilot.  This is our own 
personal jet but we will use it on company business as long as Aleshia 
doesn't need it on her modeling trips.  I would like for the 4 of us to 
fly to Chicago soon so you can meet your co-workers and my new family.  
I will spend all my time with Aleshia.  She has offered me the position 
as her business Manager. This means I will have to be with her where 
ever she goes and when ever she goes.  We will use our Jet.  I have 
offered her the position as my personal secretary.  She will accompany 
me wherever I go”. 

“One more thing and we will close.  Gopher, Aleshia has a friend on page
62 that is dying to meet you. Second, I need a best man at our wedding. 
I want you but you have to kiss Aleshia after the ceremony”. 

Gopher said, “I guess if you need me, but we will have to start
practicing the kiss immediately”. 

Then a very serious Gopher said. “I love you Joe.  Thank God he let me
tell you in person and not a body in a casket”.
