Holding back feelings...(it's about my ex)

No matter how many times I say goodbye... 

it will never be goodbye to all of it...which makes the pain harsh. 

As long as we're still friends, the pain will always be there. 

Deep inside, we hide from each other. 

We try not to let our feelings lose. 

But its the little things we do that opens our doors. 

A compliment, a little conversation, or even a smile opens our door to
our souls. 

We want the other to know how we feel, but we're afraid of what the
other has to say. 

Why so scared? Because we know it won't change anything. 

So we move on, with guilt and regret tearing us apart. 

Or maybe its just me...I'm only a silly girl with strange thoughts. 

So laugh at me, I'll laugh too. For it was a silly thing to do.
