About me. 

Now here you are. 

Between me and him. 

I never thought I'd be in the ring, 

Much less squarin' against the champ. 

But damn ain't I glad I am? 

So I wanted to tell you. 

I want to be the one. 

I want you to be happy first and foremost. 

But I want to be the one. 

I want to be the one to make you happy. 

To make you smile. 

To make you laugh. 

To make you scream in passion. 

I want to be the one 

To make you write. 

I know probably won't work. 

I don't deserve an angel like you 

(and that is NOT a cliche, 

you ARE a fucking angel to me!) 

I'm just not a good enough man for 

A woman like you. 

Maybe he is. He seems to have his shit together. 

But ya know. I don't give a fuck. 

Cuz he HAD his shot. And he dropped ya. 

It's MY turn now, no matter HOW badly I may fail. 

Because I at least wanna be the one to try.
