| just me thinking. | |||
Pages flip, a ragged notebook drops Full of anger and hate-ridden letter. Pages scramble to collect themselves, the yellow, old, are alive again. I'm alive again. As I read through each and every page, memories are found, but they are not saved. They were from my anti-glory days. Days od dawning sadness that would seem like forever. Fingers skim over old songs, old rymes and sayings. Then I stand up and realize This is my poem. Who I am. I can't erase my ink written poem. But I'll continue my poem, With beautiful stories anew And on my bed, I'll finish this grand poem. -Denise Oliveras
