"WHO ARE YOU", "WHO ARE YOU TO KILL THEM AND JUST LEAVE THEM THERE?... WHO, no, WHAT ARE YOU?!!". How could he have known what he asked? How could he have known? He could not have. A curse broken. a secret uncovered. a line crossed.

To an onlooker it would seem as though a heart attack was the cause. A
man collapsing in the street, seemingly untouched, was what he was. No
doctor would be able to determine what the cause of death was, I
thought. I walked away as I replaced my Rentrostire, without giving a
thought to the young woman calling 911 for a paramedic.

Meanwhile...

“This is our last chance,” said a man in a white coat, “we have to take
him out.” “Don't worry, I have a plan” said another. Not even Seizukoa
could stop this one, he ha ha...

As I walked down the street thoughts flooded my mind. Why was I
destined not to be able to share who I was with anyone. I who share
the secrets of the universe. I who am so much more than anyone around
me. I did not belong here

I arrived at Tresand Marketplace receiving many curious stares from
shoppers. I noticed the poster of a movie I wanted to see. “‘Sound It
Is 4': coming in 2124”. Only a week away, nice. Playing on the stores
speakers, I noticed that a song was on that I had never heard before.
I stopped and listened to a good deal of it:

...Frustrated brother, see how he's tried to

Light his own candle some other way

See now your sister, she's been robbed and lied to

Still holds a candle without a flame...

...There is a candle in every soul

Some brightly burning, some dark and cold

There is a Spirit who brings a fire

Ignites a candle and makes His home...

So carry your candle, run to the darkness

Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn

Hold out your candle for all to see it

Take your candle, and go light your world

Take your candle, and go light your world

Cause we are a family whose hearts are blazing

So let's raise our candles and light up the sky

Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus

Make us a beacon in darkest times...

...Carry your candle, run to the darkness

Seek out the helpless, confused and torn

Hold out your candle for all to see it

Take your candle, and go light your world...

How interesting. Though I had never heard that song before I felt as
though I had heard it only the day before. It seemed so familiar. How
odd.

I purchased a bottled water, a loaf of bread, and a box of Bisquick. As
I walked out I noticed a man who carried himself differently. With the
hands of a thief and speed of what, I can't say, my hand shot into the
cart he was pushing. Then a hand as fast as or faster than my own
grabbed mine and broke my concentration, jerking me back to normal
speed as well as pushing my hand away from the cart, but not before I
discovered a cold metallic sheath bound within the blue jacket.
