"Honey, do you hear me?" 

Did I? 

"Honey, I'm sorry..", she whispered, grabbing my hand. In my void, I
awakened from my slumber, as I felt a cold tingling in my left hand. 
The voice was far away, but I knew it was Gina. She was there, I was 
going to be okay.. 

"Honey, I want to tell you that Beth and Jake.. and me.. will be ok..
Don't worry ok.. I still love you.." 

What did she say.. I heard.. love.. She loved me.. I love you too Gina!
I love you too! 

But Gina didn't hear anything. Instead she cried again, and she let go
off my hand. I felt that.. 

Gina? I tried to say.. But no one responded. 

Gina nodded at the person who had entered the room, tears still running
down her face. She looked at my face once more, and kissed my lips. 

"Goodbye, dear." 

As she kissed my lips, the vague light in my void had become red. 

She walked out of the room, and looked at my face one more time, then at
the doctor, and the nurse who was now standing beside him. 

The red light had become threatening, and I was scared. I felt weird. As
if I was expanding.. Like a balloon.. The silence was gone too, I heard 
a loud noise, as if a train was passing just a few inches away from me. 
I tried to scream, but I had no mouth.. I could only scream in my mind. 
The threatening red darkened, and the sounds disappeared. I wanted to 
cry. I was alone. 

"Time of death, 5:46 PM", the doctor said to the nurse, after looking on
his watch. The nurse wrote it down, and smiled. Her shift would end in 
fourteen minutes.
