down inside they already know.   Now she has me in focus.  She is the 
only one who knows I'm here.  Ready? – Here we go, the final zap, the 
bright light you sometimes hear about.  She'll instantly tense, light 
spasms, flash a weak smile, and then completely relax as she relives 
every precious moment of her life.  A couple thousand images seen in an 
instant.  Every joyous life experience will be dancing in her head. 

There, it's over!  She never felt the severe bump her head took as she
collapsed on the treadmill.  She has no idea that everyone has gathered 
around her, and the older lady, Beverly, is starting CPR.   A couple of 
gals are biting their lips and one has a tear on her cheek.  You can 
hear a man shouting at the 911 dispatcher.  Sad for them, but just 
another successful venture for me. 

“Well Brenda, that wasn't so bad, now, was it?  I will stay with you
until you get the hang of walking with nothing solid under your feet, 
and then I'm afraid I have to head to a pool hall in East Detroit.  
Notice how your hair is already dry, longer, and curled like you just 
had a new permanent?  You've changed clothes and smell fresh, there are 
no showers here, cleanliness really is next to Godliness!  A good many 
things will tend to take care of themselves from now on, but you will 
catch on quickly.  You won't be perpetually overjoyed here, but sorrow 
is not allowed. 

And before you ask, yes I am!  And No, we don't all have wings.  Now
that you have made your stunning debut, and I have once again 
successfully completed another assignment, I'm afraid I must once again 
test the limits of near perfection...
