I miss you 

like the desert 

misses the rain. 

I love you 

like a duck 

loves water. 

You are 

everything I am 

and so much more.

People wait 

lifetimes 

for true love. 

We got lucky 

and found each other. 

Is it really too much 

to hope for just 

one night 

to celebrate a lifetime? 

Or is it not enough 

to last?

like a school 

needs children.
