A friend of mine told me to let my muse keep me in imagination's forest. I liked the comment so much I wrote a poem about it. What is in imagination's forest? I'm not really sure, but why don't you read to see what I wrote.

Here was pretty

flowers blooming

different colors.

Baby lion cubs

rolling around

in the brown dirt.

Lion manes shining

in the moonlight.

A treasure trove

is what he found.

In this place he

could find a mate.

Someone he could

love above all.

Somewhere he could

raise a tiny

flock just like him.

He could grow old

here and enjoy the

sounds of life and

be happy again.

Here was a home

set before him.

All this he saw

while flying high

below the clouds.
