This is a free verse poem is discribing what it feels like to be waiting in anticipation for the love of your life to return to see you, and what the world thinks of the two people that are in love.

I sit here in silence,

but my heart screams out.

Not a sound of grief,

but of joy.

For I will see my One soon.

Though no one hears my yell,

and no one knows my secret,

Everyone can tell:

That I will see my One soon.

We will be subtle.

We will be brief.

For no one knows my One and I.

We know eachother well,

Yet see eachother not.

For we must be subtle,

We must be brief.

For the World does not comprehend

what we share.

But that does not stop my One and I

For we are always, and forever will be

A Pair.
