A poem I have written called, My Favourite Part OfThe Day

Early morning frost lies heavy
on the ground, making crunchy
noises under foot
The sound of birds beginning to chirp
in the trees, setting off the dawn chorus
Traffic increasing as the morning unfolds
The sound of children on their way to school
The postman busy delivering mail on his rounds
Commuters waiting for trains, rarely on time
Towns buzz with people making their way
to the shops, hurrying as they go
Much happens in the morning time
It is my favourite part of the day
It would be yours too, if you wanted
it that way, Just look out of the window
and you'll see it before your own eyes.
