|life and the costume store....haha not what you think|
We walk around in costumes masking ourselves from pain and truth We fear our human vulnerability and the fact that our healed wounds can be re-opened... By a harsh word or judgement. a look 5 seconds in the making at an individual 18 times around. We care, not about helping others , but of putting salt on their wounds to better ourselves. Till we reach the top rung of the ladder, only to find we are each alone. Accompanied by our costumes and far away memories of the friends now poisoned by our determination. We want to go back , but cannot; We have paid in full, the party is now over, and our costumes are non-returnable. Kat M. sep 21 9ish Tweet
