a little something i hammered out, to that someone we've all known, about something we've all done, that letter we've all written in our hearts to that person who'll never read it.

this is a letter youíll never get

this is a letter from a man you never met

set back

play a track

and cut him a little slack

he told me to tell you not to worry

he told me to tell you he was sorry

but he had to write one more time

there was one more letter he had to sign

and this one was to you

heís still under your voodoo

that you do

oh so so so well

so what the hell

here it goes again

if loviní you is wrong he said

he donít wanna be right

and its your name he hears

in the still of the night

what a sight what a shame to see

and damn ainít i glad

that man ainít me

that itís not me who sees

you every night

in his dreams and it seems

ainít nothiní right

he says he donít know

what to wish for

he says he donít know

what he wants anymore

he knows he wants you

but that wouldnít be right

cause whatís he gonna do

when you ainít in sight

and outta his world

thatís no way to handle a girl

and he donít wanna stop
