Never be ashamed to let yourself go...

There are some who think that tears are weak, 

Some people would say to a boy: what a freak, 

But I think those who hold it back the longest, 

Are not necessarily those who are the strongest, 

Getting in touch with your emotions is hard, 

Those who can't do it will remain in the dark, 

I know for sure that sometimes you've got to cry, 

Sometimes when you feel like you want to die. 

. 

Tears are blessings we need to let flow, 

They are the only way we can let ourselves go, 

When my feelings get so low I want to scream, 

When I feel so low it must be a bad dream, 

The only thing to do it let your tears burst, 

I've done that often, it helps relieve the worst, 

But sometimes I wish I could cry on the shoulder 

Of someone I can trust without them growing colder. 

. 

Tears can be personal and cried alone, 

But if only I could share them, even by phone, 

I need to talk to someone who cares, 

To try to tell them of my miserable affairs, 

Perhaps this seems strange, and you're unprepared, 

But to me this is real, please understand that I'm scared, 

Please someone help me to get out of my cave 

I need you to hold me and keep me safe.
