A poem about how we have to go on with our lives.

Going On

By: cowgirl_11

It wasn't your choice to go.

That choice was taken out of our hands.

Someone else made those plans.

The people behind the plan made you die.

When the plane crashed it destroyed all our lives.

Most people were made to think about safety.

But all I could think about was you, baby.

The world is one cruel place to be.

For now there is no one for me.

You left me on that fateful day.

For all Eternity, I will pay.

With you love light gone,

How can I possible go on?

With hair of black and eyes of green,

You were what made up my dreams.

You've left me here to grieve.

Now, what am I supposed to believe?

All our plans went up in smoke.

My heart was broke.

But go on I have.

Some how I've learned to cope.

With life and love again,

My new life must begin.

Someone new has come around.

Another man I have found.

But don't worry,

I'm not in any hurry.

You will never be forgotten.

For a child we have begotten.
