A Love Poem

If your kiss was poison, deadly in it's taste I'd still lay myself your
victim, and steal your deathly kiss If you were to kill me, stab me
from behind I'd turn my back upon you, accept the murderous knife If
you were to break me, bend my spirit down I'd kneel at your feet,
already broken about But your kiss is sweet, a taste of heaven above To
have but one is to revel in pleasure and love You could never kill me,
it would cause you too much grief Instead you must hold me, touch me,
as I must you It is impossible for you to ever break me For it is my
spirit that draws you and holds you A rebel in my soul, already yours
to command You would think I would act like before Run away, or get
ferociously mad But I know what I have found is far too precious to
loose I wouldn't do anything to hurt you And to flee would be my own
self destruction But if you did so choose to sting me with a whip I'd
bare my back for the blows, and bare it with a grin For you I love and
would do whatever you so happened to ask I am yours and you are mine,
that is that.
