|Don't play with fire, it hurts when you let it get out of control.|
The smell of burning flesh Makes me want to gag As my finger blisters and swells From my own foolish mistake I couldn't help it, It was the candle's fault It told me to burn that paper Just to watch it go I held on a bit too long Not realizing how close The flame really was Now I'm nursing my burnt finger And soothing wounded pride Next time the candle beckons I'll turn the other way Find something That just won't burn as quick Something with which I can play.
