A poem for a long forgotten friend.
 



Try, dear friend, Try not to cry. For hope is there, Thought we know not
where. Even while you hang your noose, Your soul begs “Let me loose”. 
And while you stand upon your toes, Know that we are not your foes. The 
will use you as its pawn, But you, my friend, must carry on
