It's the night of the dance and I'm ready to go except for my shoes and
my date. Speaking of my date, he's here. I'll write more after the 
dance. 

The dance was awesome and I shared my first, passionate kiss with
Pierce. We were dancing to “I Don't Want to Miss a Thing” when he 
slowly leaned over and kissed me...I melted in his arms. WOW!!!

October 26 Dear Diary, 

Mom just found out about Pierce's reputation and forbid me to ever see
him again because she didn't want her little girl to get hurt. Yea, 
right, like I'm going to listen to her. HA! He's almost mine and she's 
not going to take that away from me.

October 30 Dear Diary, 

I snuck out of the house last night and went over to Pierce's house. We
made out on his bed and then I had to leave because the sun was going 
to rise, so I went back home and went to sleep. I love him so much. I 
really want to be with him.

October 31 Dear Diary, 

Today is Halloween! Yeah! I love Halloween! This year I'm going to be a
skeleton and take my little sister trick-or-treating. I get candy and 
see Pierce all in the same night. Alright!

January 2 Dear Diary, 

A girlfriend! How could he have a girlfriend? I thought I was his girl.
This really sucks. Two years down the drain. It sucks...it really, 
really sucks!!!

April 13 Dear Diary, 

Pierce's best friend just asked me to prom. I don't want to go with him,
I want to go with Pierce. I guess I'll go because it was Pierce's idea. 
Blake is a great guy, but he's nothing like Pierce. I guess I'll give 
him a chance.

April 17 Dear Diary, 

It's prom night and my mother loved Blake. She thinks that he's a really
nice boy. He tried to kiss me goodnight, but I turned my head. I 
apologized and then walked into the house. No offense to him, but I 
really miss Pierce and I'm not ready to move on. 

Date: 

April 30 Dear Diary, 

Blake and I went on a double date with Pierce and his new girlfriend
this afternoon. I'm starting to really like Blake, but I don't want to. 


I'm seventeen-years-old and I do need to move on, but I just don't know
if I can. I don't want to make Blake the rebound guy. I'll have to talk 
to Pierce before I decide about the whole Blake thing.

May 5 Dear Diary, 

It's Blake's birthday and I bought him a journal and pens to write his
songs in, then he wrote something down in it and handed it back to me. 

He wrote “Thank you for the gift, but I think we should write back and
forth in it instead of just writing songs in it. Well, I started, now 
it's your turn, so here's a question for you...what I really wanted for 
my birthday was you to be my girl, what do you think? Will you be my 
girl?” 

After I read it, I took the pen from the slot of the journal and wrote
this... “I know you like me and you know I like you, but I don't want 
to be your girl, I want to be your lover.” 

Then I handed it back to him. He read it and replied by kissing me.

May 21 Dear Diary, 

I'm still with Blake and I'm so happy with him. I still miss Pierce, but
I realized that it was just a fling and I'm happy with Blake.

January 21 Dear Diary, 

Happy Birthday To Me!!! I'm 18!!! 

I know I haven't written in here for a long while, but I've never been
home and I moved. I finally found this in my dresser drawer with my 
other journals and diaries. Well, Blake and I are doing great. We have 
been together for a little less than a year and he just proposed to me 
today. My ring is so pretty, it's white gold with a sapphire surrounded 
by diamonds.
