|I'm not sure if this is a story or a poem, maybe it is a poem that tells a story, Please let me know what you think. This is what I view of as a Pure True Love|
Love through the Years When we were young I would feel a rush of love and tenderness as I woke in the early morn. As dawn was breaking and our day to begin. I see you my love lost in peaceful sleep and dreams. A beautiful sight, I pray I will never forget. I turn and tenderly touch your face. You open your eyes and your arms to me. Years later I wake in the early morn once again. Dawn is breaking and my home is coming alive. The quiet movement of children stirring and starting to rise. I turn and I see you my love stirring from your peaceful sleep and dreams. I touch your face to tenderly smooth the lines of worry on your brow. Proof of your love for me and our family, forever etched in your face. You open your eyes and your arms to me. The years have flown our young children now teens. I wake in the early morn once again. Dawn is breaking and I am weary this day. From the worry that comes from molding young children into adults. Hours spent in worry, nights waiting for then to arrive home from their ventures into the world. The noise in our home is now a clamor as our home comes alive. I turn and see you stirring from peaceful sleep and dreams. Worry lines now deeper even in rest. I smooth your brow and I kiss your lips, you open your eyes and your arms to me. I wake again in the early morn, dawn is breaking once again. So many years now come and gone. So quickly it seems that time has passed. Our family now grown, it is you and I, alone once more. We have grown together we both bear signs of age. I still awake in the early morn, dawn is breaking and I see you my love; lost in peaceful sleep and dreams. I turn to you and I touch your face; you open your eyes and your arms to me. Someday I know in this life we will part. I will never forget waking in the early morn. When dawn would break and I would see you, my love. You my love and your beautiful face; lost in peaceful sleep and dreams. The rush of love and tenderness I feel. I journey back over all the years when our love was new; and our lives just begun. I turn to you and I touch your face; you open your eyes and your arms to me. Life is love and love is life. True love lives in the early morn; before dawn breaks and the day begins. I see you my love lost in peaceful sleep and dreams. My life complete as each day I turn. I touch your face and your open your eyes and your arms to me once more. Tweet
