“Oh okay, I get it now.  Boy, that could have been pretty bad huh?”
Pickles asked. 

“Yes it could have been.  That's why Bailey is having the cops called. 
It's always better to be safe than sorry. We don't want to see any 
other little puppies go missing, do we?” 

“Oh no! Never would we want that to happen.  I'm sure glad I had you and
Bailey with me today.” Pickles told Lucky. 

“It's always best to go out in groups or have a buddy with you.” 

“Yes, I can see now how important that is.  Thank you for looking out
for me.” 

Anytime, that's what friends are for” Lucky said. 

Bailey came back after she told the police what happened and what the
big dog looked like.  They headed home holding hands, watching for 
traffic, and staying clear of the road. 

“Make sure to tell your parents what happened so they don't worry.”
Bailey told Pickles. 

Bailey and Lucky headed home after they walked Pickles home.  Once they
got home they told their mom what happened.  Lucky was still a little 
scarred, so she stayed next to Bailey and mom all night as they slept 
the night away.
