500 miles the distance from here to there the place i was to the place i am now this journey of life bright, sunny, dark, lonely, happy, sad days come and go, making years go by is is any wonder that one hello greets a thousand goodbyes? can a promise be kept in a span of 500 miles? on a trip to nowhere special before I close the door a voice whispers to my ear i'll be there in a week, don't worry with that promise, I breathe, I trust traveling 500 miles back to where I am now a week goes by two, three... where is that promise made to me? that pledge of being here? were the words, just words or just a way to let me go 500 miles in the other direction? this broken heart cries for truth to trust amongst the clamor of lies tell me something, I can trust be there, hold me close, and let me know you care for me beyond that 500 miles that separate us dry my tears and let me know I matter to you I would do the same for you Click here to read the rest of this story (37 more lines)
