Author: LoriAdded: Apr 29 2008Views/Reads: 2456/0Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
An ambiguous poem about another type of love.

Betrayal

Sunlight's gone,

see the rain,

drowns out the night.

Bird of prey circles,

waits for the last breath.

Watches the life leave her eyes,

hawk pounces.

The prey lays down

and surrenders.
