To live for the future you have to let go of the past. The trick is finding out if we can.

Dropped By the Rain

There's a flower

tossed aside.

Left to wither

and die.

Love cast away.

Hoped to be rekindled

another day.

Vows taken

and broken.

Without the heart

going unspoken.

The age old

song of love.

Now you hide from

the man above.

Only you

can change your life.

Only you

choose to keep your wife.

Only to become,

once again,

the flower

left to wither and die.
