A woman asks for more than her lover is willing to give.

Daily Living

Sitting at the computer,

window open,

watching the sunlight play in the room,

the only thought I have is of

Listening to country music

while the T.V. plays in the background,

I feel the gentle breezes play on my skin,

I remember the touch of

Closing my eyes,

images play in my head,

old homesteads,

deserted roads,

and concrete floors.

The focus of all is

What I wouldn't give

right now to be in

your arms,

and your life.
