|Out of the blue the sky lit up with fluffy pinks, blues and the golden rays of the sun. What is the color of hope?|
Hope is a color that comes when least expected. Wrapped up in pink ribbons, always welcome and kind. Looking up at the bleak winter skies, I don't see much hope but with an artist's eye, I see more than dark clouds. I see many colors blended together. As I continue to look up at the clouds, the wind changes the shape of the clouds, and the entire mood of the sky changes in the blink of an eye. That tells me that life is forever moving forward, that a dark cloud is there for but a moment, drifting slowly, lingering, almost as a tease, holding a dark secret, or a private pain. To wait out the storm clouds, breathe in the air, look closer as the clouds part to reveal the night skies. Wait a little longer, as the inky blackness of the evening approaches and the stars light up one by one each one chasing the full moon. The moon, like a huge ornament of the night, prides itself on lighting up the world, in contrast to the sun, has a different sort of light, but one that rules the ocean tides and the guiding light of night into dawn. The color of hope lies somewhere between dawn and dusk. It is all the colors of the rainbow, all wrapped up with happiness, moonbeams, sunlight, and smiles. Remembering that you and only you reach out and catch that moonbeam and bring it to your heart. Hope is what makes tomorrow more than just a dream. An amazing color that we live each day. Tweet
