Flash story about shopping for what you want.

One or Two 

Muted foot falls were heard inside the apartment after the first twist
of the door bell.  When Heather rang, again, the door swung inward and 
she stood facing a most attractive young woman. 

“I'm here to” Heather began. 

The young woman pressed a forefinger to her lips and made a shushing
sound then in a soft not at all unpleasant whisper said, “Look them all 
over.  Every one has its papers and shots.  Just pick out one or two 
you like the looks of and get gone. 

“My goodness Heather exclaimed I did not expect to have this many to
choose from.  Are you really sure, you want to part with all of them?  
I mean they are so cute that I just want to grab them up and hug them.” 


“Look lady I'm not fooling around here.  The deal is a thousand cash
each.  I need you to pick one or if you would like take two but I need 
to be rid of all of them by the end of this week.  Otherwise, the price 
would be a lot more.  If you have shopped around you know this is the 
truth.  This is the deal of a lifetime for you and the price is this 
low only because we are moving into a new place that doesn't allow 
kids.”
