This story is about a guy who hates Christmas and then finally figures out the real meaning of it.

to come over.  Your father and I have missed you so much and we have 
been wanting to see you, but with your schedule and everything,its 
really hard to get a time to meet up."John's mother said. Right away 
John responded and said," Mom, you know what, I quit my job just a 
little bit ago so i could spend more time with you and Dad.  I am going 
to just get a part-time job somewhere else.  I need to have a life 
outside of work." 

Around about 3:00 P.M. there was a knock at John's door.  John slowly
walked to the door knowing who was there. He opened the door and saw a 
very old woman and a guy that looked a little older. John asked, 
"Ummmm, excuse me. How may I help you? "  No response. "Well at least 
tell me who you are."  Then the old man talked. "Are you John. Oh son, 
it has been ages since we last saw you." John's father gave him a warm 
day after Christmas hug. Then his mother walked over to him and said, 
"John, son, why haven't you ever talked to us. You must know how much 
we've missed you."  John replied by saying,"Actually Mom, I didn't even 
think you knew I existed."  John's mother gave him a big hug and 
started to cry. That is when John finally realized that his Mom and Dad 
both loved him very much.  John swore that he would never again say 
that he hated Christmas.  He figured out that the real meaning of 
Christmas was that your family loves you no matter what and they would 
do anything for you. Later that year John moved in with his parents and 
stayed in the guestroom right down the hall from his parents room. 
Every night before he went to bed the last thing he would say was, "I 
love you.".
