She came from nowhere Like a blazing comet Drawing me in her wake Turning free will into dust I didn’t fight the tide I didn’t regret the change But wallowed in my love For this unexpected find Our path was difficult With surprises beyond concept Moments of pure joy Offset by sorrow infinitely deep On to the next galaxy I will forever follow For the remaining few moments To share with my mate Tweet
