This is true emotion....

Jimmy died last night, 

he slept soundlessly without breath, 

he laid there, 

without that gleam in his soft brown eyes, 

and the rose color he had always worn on his cheeks, 

he just laid there, 

still and peacefully, 

with an unfamiliar smirk on his face, 

with his strong gentle hands at his side, 

now limp with death, 

he succumbed to the fever, 

and his prayers were left unanswered, 

i saw a boy that had become a man, 

a friend in life and beyond the grave, 

Jimmy died last night, 

and now he is gone.
