daylight bad night good | |||
amidst the stygian light i stumble and fight The harsh days phantoms and wraiths rake their ethereal claws on my faith Their shrieks and their wails leave me twisted and paled how I long for my shell away the lights bright hell It's stygian light so harsh on my sight how I long for the night In turbinate blackness I'll heal and regain my lost zeal But the light will return setting me back one more turn One step forward two steps back all the while angels laugh at my back Blast this maledict light which harries my flight I must reach my shell there I'll be safe from this hell A shell born of gore where the light shines no more What a heavenly place where noone can see my scorched face Down into darkness I go where the heavnly Styx does flow Tweet
