You offer a hand.

I hesitate, but finally I reach out to you,

A stronghold in the night

As I cling to you the darkness begins to fade

I see the light.

The loneliness diminishes,

My questions are answered

As you fill my life with love

Unconditional love.

You look past my faults,

And into my heart

Day and night you walk with me

Listening to all I have to say

Understanding my troubles.

When you speak, you speak just to me

You care for me,

The darkness, the loneliness, the unbearable hurt, the endless
questions.

You have torn them from their foundations,

And flung them away.

It is because I have learned

I have learned to put my trust in you, Jesus.
