Poem about a woman searching for love then one day it shows up

A new love comes along 

puts a flame to the wick. 

She knew right from the start, 

with him her hopes and dreams would die quick. 

And so she keeps on walking 

with the flame of her heart now out. 

Praying that a man will come along 

and give unconditional love without a doubt. 

The days keep going by 

with still no sign of him at all. 

She's starting to lose her hope and strength. 

Without love from him she is sure to fall. 

Then, one dark and dreary winters evening 

when her heart was cold and dead, 

Her sweet stranger swept her off her feet 

and her hopes and aspirations once again fill her head. 

Her and her new love fit perfectly together 

so much he asked her to be his wife. 

Now her heart is always lit up with love 

as they walk hand-in-hand, heart-by-heart through life.
