This is for eveyone who has a history of being rejected by the opposite sex.....its not to comfort you, just.......read it :)

Rejected........... 

He'd been thinking about it for quite some time now, how to approach
her, to talk to her, to tell her about his feelings. In fact, he as 
still deep in his thoughts when he glimpsed her walk by, and without 
thinking, he called out her name, Nadia! She stopped and turned around, 
seeing him, she awaited his next move. He stood up, facing her. It took 
him a while to finally gather up his courage and decide on what to say. 
“Y-Y- you have the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen”, he muttered. 
Much to his surprise, she didn't even flinch, not a smile, not a frown, 
not even a simple ‘thank you'. She was deeply lost in her own thoughts, 
should she trust him? Should she believe him? No, she'd been fooled by 
that very line one too many time, and she wasn't about to fall for it 
once more, but then again, he sounded sincere as he said it. No, she 
said that to herself, remembering her past experiences with that very 
line, it was then that she made her reply, she gave him a disgusted 
look and walked away, leaving him to his own puzzled thoughts, ‘what 
did I say?!' he asked himself. Then he realized that he'd been 
rejected, he shrugged and walked away, looking for a hole to crawl 
into, he didn't mind all that much though, he was used to it by now, a 
couple of hours of self pity and all will be forgotten. Come to think 
of it, he didn't really expect a positive reply, deep down inside he 
knew this was gonna happen, but, what the hell, at least he tried 
right? 

If only he knew that she did like him, and it was only his bad choice of
words that made their relationship to be, another lost hope, torn apart 
by the manipulative hands of fate. Funny; isn't it.....
