Gone 

Gone is the belief that nothing can happen to me. 

I've had some rather hard times, you see. 

Every dream I've had is slowly fading, 

Now it's just a game of waiting. 

Gone is the dream that I'll someday be rich, 

My life's just waiting to turn off the switch. 

All my life, I've laughed and had fun, 

But not it seems I was just jumping the gun. 

Gone is the pain of losing my friends, 

But I'll see them before this next year ends. 

My life is over and that's okay, 

Cause I know I'll see you again someday.
