This is a little piece about my thoughts, my dreams, my fears and how i find a way to deal with them.

FINDING MY PEACE

In my dreams I see myself happy. Everything around me has a feeling of
peace. I see myself smiling. I picture myself on the back of beautiful
white stallion riding through a magical forest. I see all kinds of
beautiful creatures around me. We stop for water and reach a beautiful
waterfall in the middle on a heavy bush. The water is blue, and so
clear that I can see myself in different forms. As I look inside the
water it asks me a question. What are your dreams my child? And I think
to myself and say:

My dreams, there are so many. I dream of being at peace, I dream of a
life filled with love, I dream of happiness and hope. I dream of
someone to share my dreams with.

Then the water says, what is the one thing that scares you most in your
dreams? And the smile on my face fades slowly and I tell the wise water
my nightmare.

I am in a very dark place, and something built out of my fears has kept
me there. I am trapped. And from where I am I see a lake. The waters
are still as if they were dead. The lake scares me, as I don't know
what lurks beneath it. I see people and I scream for them to help me,
to save me from him, I have not seen him but the fear he arouses in me
engulfs me. I know he is close. The people don't see me, they can't
hear me. They walk away as if I don't exist. I stand there imprisoned
by my fears. Alone in my darkness. I know it wont be long before it all
ends and then I wake up.

The water listens to my dreams and is silent for a few minutes. Then she
says to me come into my waterfall. And I listen. She says you are safe
here. There is nobody here to hurt you. It is just you. She says feel
the pebbles under your feet. Close your eyes and picture yourself as a
child again. I close my eyes and I smile. Something is happening. I
feel at peace. As I sit under the waterfall and let the water engulf
me. I am calm. I play like a child in the water. Everything around me
is beautiful.

I am free.

Then the water says look behind my waterfall there is a cave. Walk into
that cave. I slowly move closer to the cave. I see a light. She tells
me to follow the light. I walk slowly into the cave. As I walk closer
to the light I feel something spiritually powerful in the air.
Something strong. The energy inside is positive. And inside the cave I
see a fire.

I hear a voice that tells me stand in front of the flames. I feel
warmth. The voice tells me now one by one call out to all the people
who have hurt you and tell them you forgive them.

I feel a very strong energy around me as I call out to all the people.
One by one they come into my thoughts and I forgive them. I feel
lighter as I put my emotions into the magical flame. I feel a weight
lifting from inside me.

Then the voice says now close your eyes and feel love for yourself, feel
love for the flames, the cave, the water, the forest for all the people
you love for all the people who caused you pain. Give love to your
country, give love to the world.

I see a purple light spreading on everything I picture in my head and
later the voice tells me the purple light is the goddess kwanyin the
healer. She is healing me, my thoughts and my world.

There is love,

There is peace.

As I open my eyes the flame is gone and I walk out of the cave. I see
my world from a different light. The waters smile at me and I smile
back. I am finally at peace.

I am free.
