This poem is dedicated to the inner me because I felt like saying something to myself. Except I couldn’t find the words to say it so I wrote down some things that have been on my mind. The shinning stars represent the students at my school. The shimmer

Blurry Future 

For The Inner Me 

The shinning stars/ The shimmering pond/ Never seemed to satisfy my
thoughts/ Your voice so far/ Fighting this black dawn/ Seeking revenge 
on inhumane thoughts/ I look through the glass/ I only see a blurry 
future/ One questions is/ All I ask of you/ Would you risk it all just 
to save me?/ Running through this/ Search the ocean blue/ But how did I 
ever come to be?/ I look through the glass/ I only see a blurry future
