Struggle (standard:poetry, 96 words)

I think life is what we battle through every day. Win or lose.

Life is a struggle that tears us apart.

The only thing that binds us is our heart.

Times can appear as dark as the midnight sky.

With no hope of daylight until the day we all die.

Where can we turn? Where can we run?

Life really sucks, yet it can be so much fun.

There is a silver lining in every cloud, they say.

When I look in the sky, It's always a clear day.

What does it all mean? Of this I'm not sure.

The one thing I've realized is death is no cure.
