I die a little each day

The longer you stay away

Pain that I hold inside

You take it all in stride

Crying cuz you're so cold

Truth has not been told

Used to further a gain

Just a pawn in life's game

I fought so hard for you

Loving you was easy to do

My life was in your smile

To bring it back will be awhile

This agony I bear alone

Someone's heart is made of stone

Death won't reveal the lies

Forever I'll weep inside

Truth far worse than his lies

No wish to see disappointed eyes

Forever will I shelter you

Never will you cry as I do
