Who am I?

Cast me away, to a far of place. 

Where I can be alone. 

Where no one will find me. 

Off to a world unknown. 

I travel still, yet to find 

Who I am. 

I come back to the world 

And I am still not found. 

Lost with no guide 

I go on with my search. 

I feel so empty inside. 

Hollow is what I am. 

But that can't be. 

For years ago I once knew myself. 

Why can't I find her? 

The one who was filled with joy 

I always had a smile on my face. 

But things have changed. 

Reluctantly, I have changed. 

If this be true, I am a lost soul. 

Through my journey, I find someone. 

Someone I can talk to. 

Someone who makes me laugh. 

Someone who always knows what to say. 

And whenever I think of him, 

I remember how I used to be 

And realize that I'm still the same person 

I have always been the same person 

And will be the same person. 

My world has turned upside down 

But I made my pathway 

Back to the beginning. 

Now I know who I am. 

And now I know what I have to do.
