Who I think of when I need the strength to endure.

When I Need You

When I cannot breathe, 

And lose will to live, 

Or loss strong believe, 

Or actions I can't forgive. 

~ 

If I'm lost without light, 

Shrouded with gloom, 

Losing an endless fight, 

Sure impending doom. 

~ 

When I don't know the time, 

Have no future plans, 

Cannot control this life of mine, 

All is out of my hands. 

~ 

When shadows creep from the dead, 

To haunt my being, 

Alone in my bed, 

To unknown I'm seeing. 

~ 

When I'm depressed, you give me hope. 

When I am lost, you guide my soul. 

When I lose control, you help me regain. 

When I'm afraid, you give me strength. 

~ 

When I need reason to live, you are all I need.
