A lady in search of her soul mate that may have passed her by.

A Soul Mate for me 

Oh Goddess of love and Goddess of time Please turn an ear and hear my
rhyme 

For a soul mate I do seek A companion mild and meek 

This I have not been able to find Because of circumstances I have been
to blind 

So Goddess of Love, you surely see I cannot pick the right love for me. 

Tired and weary, unable to sleep Searching and searching for a man I can
keep 

My instincts I realize, sometime don't work Cause the men in my life
turn out to be jerks 

Oh Goddess of love and Goddess of time Please turn an ear and hear my
rhyme And sent me the soul mate you picked for me 

This time I promise I won't be so blind I will hold him, love him, and
be oh so kind 

I have waited and waited for a soul mate so long I feel in my heart he
will not come along 

Cause down life's path he came to me And I close my eyes and did not see
The soul mate you carefully picked for me.
