Moons and Stars (standard:poetry, 105 words)
Author: Anya LaneAdded: Jun 06 2003Views/Reads: 3161/0Story vote: 0.00 (0 votes)
A poem I wrote for my boyfriend, who lives far away from my world.

If I owned the stars, I'd give them all to you, And if the moon were
catchable, I'd catch it just for you, But the stars belong to no one,
and the moon stays in the sky, So my love will have to do, until I
learn how to fly, When I learn to fly, I'll make the stars my own, And
catch the moon in the web I've sewn, Then I'll give them to you, and
place them in your eyes, When you cry I'll catch the stars that fall,
and keep them safe for you, I'll love you forever and always be true.
