| A poem from the depths of a heart-broken soul. | |||
A Hymn to Heartache Clutching my heart as it becomes clear. Unbearable pain. Eyes surrender a tear. Trembling hands cover tear-streaked face. A blind desire to be some other place. The world can do nothing to ease the pain. Even God throws his punch with a dismal rain. I wonder who would ever seek to console This empty heart and this lonely soul. Sitting alone, my heart feeling destroyed, I echo my sorrows into the void. Who will hear my cry? Who would even care? Is this case of mine really so rare? I am what's left when one's heart truly breaks. The very epitome of the word "heartache." Tweet
