My name is Jared and I haven't seen people in a long time. I live in a large and bustling city. But no clerk waves from behind the front desk of my hotel. There are no drivers in the cars zipping by me, and no people attending the food stands on the edge of the sidewalk. The occasional bicycle eerily pedals itself between the taxis stopped at stoplights or traffic jams. There are busy squares with flashing lights and open doors, and nobody passing through them. I still go to my job every day. I don't want to lose it when they come back. Tweet
