A teenage girl looks out the window of a car as she is driving away from a place she used to love. (True Story).

I look back, only once

To remember the things I am leaving behind

I look at all that I am losing,

I put the sight, in the back of my mind.

As we drive away, I look around

I look at the park, as tears start to fall

Do you remember watching the guys play basketball?

I look through the pictures.

Me and you, me and her, all cramped in that little back seat.

Remember the day that we all went to the beach?

Memories. That is all I have left.

Good ones, bad ones I know

Remember the time we all played in the snow?

This place will stay in my mind,

Until I get the courage to return again.

Remember when we all went and danced in the rain?

So many good-byes,

So many tears to cry

So many people to miss

So many things to forget.

You have seen me in the worst of times.

You may have been there,

But many times you weren’t.

You may have helped me,

But many times you didn’t.

Why is it that I can remember the bad times so well,

When the happiest of times, arent there, anymore?

Why is it that in my mind I see all the fights,

When I can never recall all the fun nights?

My time here, was fun at first,

But now, it makes me cry,

You all forced me to leave,

So now I say good bye.
