What would you feel if the eyes of your loved one were suddenly blocked from your sight?

His Eyes

Rich, velvety brown,

shone for me alone.

Sparkled in candlelight,

made me moan.

World was right,

no light could dim.

Saw desires,

I have for him.

Hope found,

dreams came true.

Allowed to glimpse,

how love could be.

Gazed into mine,

paradise found.

Was his world

when temptation

was around.

Eyes are gone,

blocked from sight.

Have pictures,

still crave a night.

Lost in those eyes,

discovered a home.

Cast aside,

on my own.

Will those eyes ever light again?

One day maybe.

I pray one day

for me.

His eyes.

God knows!

I love those eyes.
