I had this up the other day. I felt it lacked something and think I figured out what that was. Still a spiritual poem. All things are possible through Christ.

All Things Are Possible 

~ 

You are my monster. 

Your wrath scares me. 

There's no mercy and it's vengeful. 

Punishments are feared. 

~ 

You are my hatred. 

I'm convicted for my sins. 

Life has me wrapped in chains. 

I can't forgive or forget. 

Terror outweighs the grace. 

~ 

You are my Savior. 

Even though I've turned my back, 

You never turned Yours. 

I know You are there 

and protecting me through life's journey. 

~ 

You are my God. 

Dying for my sins wiped the slate clean. 

Gave up Your life so I might live. 

My Redeemer, Merciful God, I am Yours. 

~ 

You are my life. 

I owe you so much. 

More than I can repay. 

My life, and love, are Yours. 

~ 

Your will be done. 

Mine hasn't brought understanding.
