If the turkey were to be deep fried for Thanksgiving, one would end up with lots of used peanut oil to be disposed off. Juggernaut advises Dan to saponify the oil to make soap, lot of it.

You need an assistant either to mix the contents or add the caustic 

slowly, it takes two persons to do the job; as you add and thoroughly 

mix caustic to the oil, the oil turns slowly into soap and becomes wax 

like material, you keep adding caustic slowly to a point that no oil 

remains free in the pot except a big glob of soap. Place the wax like 

soap uniformly into a 3” shallow container to cut into convenient 

sizes. One pound of soap can be cut into 3 bars of bath soap.” 

Juggernaut looked at Dan as if he was his student. 

“So, I can make 30 pounds of soap or 90 bars  from four gallons 

of used peanut oil in the fryer; that's lot of soap,” Dan looked 

surprised. 

“Well, you have a choice. Either you can bake the turkey to 

avoid using or if you hell bent to fry the bird you will have lot of 

used oil to dispose it off.  You cannot dump the oil into the sink as 

it clogs up your sink. You can pour the oil into a container to dispose 

with regular trash or if you have a backyard, mix with soil since the 

bugs in the soil love breaking down the oil slowly or you can make lots 

of soap with some caustic.” 

“I could sell bath soaps under the brand name “gobble-gobble,” 

Dan started moving his fingers fast in the air as if crunching some 

numbers.
