" about loneliness "

It's late at night with only the glow

of a faint yellow light from my old radio

gassamer lilts for dancing real slow

to the strains of the music on my old radio

a singer's lament for a lover's no show

I hear all her pain thru the old radio

I start to get dressed with no place to go

then settle back down to my old radio
